Ready to Tackle Your Paradise, PA Adventures? See What Sets the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer Apart

The world of compact SUVs is a complicated and crowded place. It seems as if every dealership in the Paradise area has a small SUV that they claim is the best for you. But at Keim Chevrolet, where we carry a full lineup of models from the legendary Chevy brand, we can prove it. Our new inventory includes SUVs for every shopper, and we're excited to tell you more.

Take the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer, for example. A subcompact SUV from our favorite carmaker, this stylish and highly customizable model seats five people in two rows, has four doors, and comes with plenty of spacious and versatile cargo space for all your gear. It also has two engine options available and is fun to take on off-road jaunts over the weekend.

But we know that the Trailblazer isn't the only SUV in the subcompact class that may be competing for your attention. This is why we've researched our model next to the similarly sized, 2023 Buick Encore GX. Read on to learn more.

2023 Chevy Trailblazer vs. 2023 Buick Encore GX

Like the Chevy Trailblazer, the Buick Encore GX is a subcompact class SUV with five seats. Nearly identical in many ways, including engine options, performance, and power, they appear to have a lot in common. But we know what our customers are looking for in a new SUV, and we've highlighted several key areas in which the Trailblazer comes out ahead.

  • Interior space and design. The beauty of a small SUV is their petite stature that makes them easy to park anywhere and a breeze to maneuver in traffic. But subcompact vehicles can also tend to feel small on the inside. With the Chevy Trailblazer, this isn't an issue, as our small SUV offers ample space and versatility to keep everyone happy. The interior is designed with two rows of seats, and the front passenger seat is designed to fold down flat, giving you more space when needed. Additionally, the Trailblazer offers an interior that's more comfortable and maximizes its dimensions better than competing models like the Encore GX, especially in the backseat, where the Trailblazer has 3.5 inches of extra legroom when compared to the Buick model.
  • Cargo space. Not only does the Chevy Trailblazer offer more space for you and your passengers to stretch out in, but it also has more cargo room than the Buick Encore GX as well. In addition to the folding front passenger seat, which makes more room in a pinch, the Trailblazer also has a larger rear cargo hold, accommodating more than 25 cubic feet of gear in comparison to the 23 cubic feet available in the Buick.
  • Efficiency and fuel range. Whether you have a long daily drive into work or your commute is short, the Chevy Trailblazer can take you farther on a tank of gas than the Buick Encore GX. Not only does our SUV earn a combined fuel economy rating of 30 mpg, compared to 27 mpg for the Buick, it also has a range of 409 highway miles on a full tank of gas, while the Encore GX averages 383 miles on the highway per fill up.
  • Performance and off-road capability. Enjoy spending your weekends hitting the trails for some off-road adventures? The Chevy Trailblazer is better equipped for it than the Buick Encore GX, especially the Trailblazer Aciv trim level. This specially-equipped trim comes with a slew of performance tweaks for off-road jaunts, such as underbody skid plates, a lifted suspension, and more, and you won't find a similar trim level anywhere in the Buick Encore GX lineup.
